Philosophy
NO BULLSHIT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY.
That's right. No bull.
Thanks to advances in technology, wedding photography has made leaps and bounds in the past few decades, and gone are the days of cheesy posing and unnatural smiles. In their place has arisen a beautiful art form that sometimes rivals the photos shown in art and magazines.
But sometimes I look at those beautiful magazine-worthy wedding photos and I think to myself, "Where is the couple here?" I mean, I can see them with my eyes, but the photos have nothing to do with who they are.
I don't want that for you.
I genuinely believe that each and every one of the clients I work with is a unique mofo badass, so the last thing I want to do is make you all look the same or make you do things that don't feel authentic to who you are.
Operating with the belief that you are stunning just the way you are, I don't think you need to be posed just so in front of the window holding your veil like it smells bad in order to look like a bride.
I also won't make you do "angry face" or hold an object delicately unless we're doing it to make fun of ourselves.
At the end of the day I just want you to be able to look on the photos taken during your wedding and think to yourself, "Damn, that day was amazing." And then maybe even, "Good God, we looked hot."
